Hello! I’m a designer researcher, currently working as Design and Innovation lead in Reform Projects, and as Associate Professor at the Institute of Design at AHO, The Oslo School of Architecture and Design. My work spans service design, design-driven innovation and ecosystem design, and I’m always curious about how the cultural, emotional and meaning-making intersect with the technological, systemic and generative.

Through design and research projects I explore how popular cultural phenomena can be translated into services that reflect contemporary values. I also investigate how creative, experimental and speculative design practices can contribute to change within organisations, institutions and society at large. Currently, I’m experimenting with the inherent, embodied creative process in encounters with AI, as well as how we might design for pause and reflection in a time run by acceleration.

With over 20 years of experience in industry, interwoven with academia, I bring together research-based insight and practical execution. Some partners have been: adidas, NorgesGruppen, Viking, MUNCH and the Norwegian Public Roads Administration. I hold a Master’s degree in Industrial Design from AHO (2007) and a PhD in Service Design from AHO (2021).
